
Frequent Flyers
Since 2022, the CTE has maintained an initiative called the CTE Passport. This initiative was designed to encourage current and incoming faculty to connect to the SMU community by attending a variety of events (academic, networking, and cultural) as well as to acknowledge/recognize these efforts by displaying them in a digital passport.
Through this initiative, we have made efforts to recognize the top 5 faculty that have attended CTE events by designating them CTE Frequent Flyers - a recognition that celebrates their exceptional participation in CTE programming. Their consistent engagement in professional development demonstrates a deep commitment to teaching excellence and a commendable dedication to lifelong learning.
CTE Frequent Flyers are recognized at our Teaching Effectiveness Symposium as well as the CTE Annual Reports.
