Catherine first joined SMU’s Center on Research and Evaluation (CORE) in 2022. In her current role as an Evaluation Manager, she collaborates with partners to develop evaluation plans, formulate research questions, assess data infrastructure, support data capacity building, and design data collection tools. She brings strong technical skills in R, SAS, and Python, applying machine learning algorithms and inferential statistical methods to answer research questions. Her research interests range across the cradle-to-career spectrum, with particular interest in early childhood education and the teacher workforce development.

She holds an M.S. in Data Science and an M.Ed. in Bilingual Education, both from 91��Ƭ�S�ϼ�. She received a B.A. in Political Science and Spanish from the University of Washington.
